Rule of thumb: pick by where the water shows up. Flat sensor for open floors and drain pans, corded puck for pits and tight spots, dual sensors when one room has two ways to leak. (Every sensor is wired to its alarm — "remote" means on a cord, not wireless.)

Corded sensor design
The sensor rides a 6–12 ft cord — wired, not wireless — reaching sump pits and drain pans while the alarm mounts where you'll hear it. Nothing to pair, no signal to drop.

Press the circuit test button any time to confirm the whole system works. A low-battery chirp tells you when to swap the 9V.
